Fine Art Print
Fine art prints are premium-quality photographic images generated on high-performance printers, using archive-quality, pH-neutral, and light-fast archival inks. Framed works and unframed prints are printed on the ''Breathing Colour'' range and on ''Signa Smooth" (100%cotton, 300 gsm, no OBAs), a beautiful heavyweight paper. We source only the most renowned professional Canadian printers.
Exclusive Artwork
The value of a work of art is partly a function of its rarity. For that reason, the photos in our Boutique section are available only in limited editions of no more than 30 prints. Once an edition is sold out, that photograph will never be available for purchase again. Each print in a given edition is numbered and signed by the photographer, who grants us the exclusive right to print and sell the photo. When you purchase a photo from us, you can be sure that it will not be available anywhere else. Note, however, that our photographers retain the right to print three artist’s proofs of each of their works for personal use. This could be for an exhibit, as well as to publish their photos in books, magazines, and online.
Authenticity
A certificate of authenticity is a document guaranteeing the authenticity of an artwork. It confirms that the artwork has been created by the artist associated with it. In art, a certificate of authenticity tells you who the artist is, the process used to create the print, the material it’s printed on, and whether it’s a limited edition or not.
The main goal of a certificate of authenticity in art is to prove that the artwork was created by a certain artist - and that it’s not a forgery. You can be certain that the artwork is made by this particular artist and that it’s not a replicated photo or print allegedly made by the artist undo rights to it. As the artwork is proven to be authentic, its value increases. As the artist gains notoriety, its value increases. All certificates are signed and stamped by us, as well as signed by the artist. They also include a serialized numbered hologram, which matches a second hologram on the back of your fine art print, to uniquely tie the certificate and art piece together. If its framed, the matching identification is affixed to the back of the frame. |
Protect your Artwork and Have it Framed
To appreciate the time, thought and effort put into a piece of art, you should consider a custom frame. This will ensure that the photograph you have invested in keeps integrity over time by limiting yellowing, fading or degrading, as well as extending the intensity of the piece that drew your interest in the first place. Adding a mat board as an element in your custom frame is not only aesthetically pleasing, it will also help to preserve your chosen piece by providing a gap between the glass and the artwork. This will help preserve the piece by offering a buffer between the glass and the art.
Our frames are imported from Italy by a Canadian company. They are solid wood and instead of glass, we use clear and conservation grade acrylic. That way, your piece is lighter for wall-hanging, and the risk of breakage is less likely to happen. |
We, at Leduc Gallery, partner with Four Square Framing in Mahone Bay, where Tim Arsenault is the specialist that East Coast artists have turned to for years.
Our Photographers
Renowned artists or rising stars, we choose our artists based on the depth of their artistic process. I decided to start this gallery after meeting incredible artists and human beings through my travels. Those who amazed me and touched my heart. Their work is personal, profound, original and unique. They are inspiring and are inspired by the world around them. We hope you enjoy their work and treasure these keepsakes for many years to come.
